50cl / 46% - While Aultmore isn’t seen as a single malt very often, it’s definitely a Speyside to keep an eye out for. The 21 Year Old is an excellent example of the distillery character, gently mediated and refined by long aging in refill casks. The nose suggests poached pears, toasted grain and sugared almonds, while a more substantial palate has a delicate sweetness and hints of coffee and herbs, before a spicy, lingering finish.
