This product has been designed to sit within a groove so your LED strip is embedded in to the surface. This profile is suitable for all surfaces including plasterboard and wood. It also acts as a heat sink moving residual heat away from the strip which helps keep it brighter for longer. All Tech Light LED profiles are protected by anodization layer which protects them from the elements.
