Maalox Oral Suspension is an antacid used for the relief of indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux and the discomfort of an upset or acidic stomach. It contains aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, which neutralise excess stomach acid. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney problems, are on a low-sodium or low-magnesium diet, or take other medicines (antacids can affect how some medicines are absorbed, so leave a gap of about 2 hours), speak to your pharmacist before use. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks, seek medical advice. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
