Description

These Traditional cycle shelters provide covered and secure parking for bikes. The shelter uses a corrugated sheet which permits the screening of the contents of the shelter from certain viewpoints.

The shelter is constructed from tubular steel sections supporting a corrugated sheet steel roof. The roof overhangs the shelter walls at the front so as to provide protection for bike saddles from all but driving rain. The side coverings for these units are in corrugated galvanised sheets.

Traditional cycle shelters come in a choice of two widths and two depths. 1900mm depth is suitable for most bikes 2500mm depth is recommended for motor cycles or motor scooters 2450mm will fit up to 6 bikes 3060mm will fit up to 8 bikes Long runs of cycle parking shelters can be created with initial bay and adding extension bays * Robust all-weather construction * Adjustable feet for on-site positioning * Parabolts for surface mounting included. Must be bolted to 250mm thick concrete for stability * Frame is powder coated in a choice of colours * Can be used in conjunction with the Traditional Bike Rack * If situated within 5 miles of the coast, we strongly recommend additional weather protection for the steelwork. This is available for a modest additional charge. Please speak to sales for further details * UK manufactured **INSTALLATION** The Traditional cycle shelter must be installed by bolting the feet to 250mm thick concrete pads, or by embedding the legs in concrete below ground level. Installing directly into block paving or tarmac is not recommended.
