Mild steel telescopic parking post lockable with an integral cylinder lock which is located at ground level. It is raised and lowered vertically and with the aid of a central gas strut has a lifting wieght much lower than conventional telescopic posts. It includes an integral 7-pin security lock located in the top of the post.
