Lion Rock Tea Room is nestled in the idyllic Cheddar Gorge, below Lion Rock. When first setting foot into the Tea Room, on the flag stone flooring you can feel the history beneath your feet. Whilst taking a deep breath, you can smell the wholesome home cooked food being prepared whilst people around listen to relaxing music, surrounded by nostalgic pictures of Lion Rock throughout the years and of course Simon and Bonnie’s huge collection of Tea Pots. You will be shown to your table where you will be served your plant based afternoon tea on a three tier stand. You will be served with delicate cut sandwiches filled with fresh cucumber, vegan cheese & chutney and guacamole. Homemade vegan scone with strawberry jam and homemade vegan cream and a slice of vegan cake from our list. Served with a pot of loose leaf black tea or an americano along with individual mini bottle of prosecco each.

When you have finished your afternoon tea, you can visit their quaint little shop in the Tea Room where they sell a wide selection of chutneys, preserves, ciders, bone china, loose leaf tea, homemade cakes, clotted cream and of course homemade scones.
