Lions elephants monkeys owls and pelicans coexist within a magical jungle of scrolling foliage and ethereal flowers. Created in the studio with hand-painted inky washes of gouache and coloured pencils Valerie also references Walter Crane's vivid Arts & Crafts book illustrations. This print is part of the second chapter of this collection Collaboration which reflects the current design team's celebration of the techniques and styles of their predecessors - bridging the gap between past and present.
