70cl / 59% - A 2006 Beenleigh Australian rum, bottled in a collaboration between La Maison du Whisky and Velier at 15-years-old. Initially matured in ex-brandy casks it was then moved to American oak ex-bourbon barrels before finally being moved to Kauri Pine barrels and bottled in 2021. Aromas of cocoa, ginger, lemon, beeswax, nutmeg and exotic fruits fill the nose, complemented by notes of rhubarb, heather, acacia, pear, vanilla, liquorice and cinnamon throughout the palate.
