Gluten is contained in the seed of the wheat and Wheatgrasses. Therefore, if a farmer allows some of the grasses to begin producing seeds prior to harvest, then that particular crop will contain gluten or have gluten exposure. While our grass powders are from quality, respected sources, and we do not believe they are harvested with any seeds, we recommend that anyone with celiac's disease or gluten-free diet issues avoid any product containing Barley or Wheatgrass that's not specifically tested to be gluten-free.
