U-2 BLUE The stunning Bremont U-2 Blue watch extends the legacy of the brand’s military air-crew watch developed in association with the world’s largest ejection seat manufacturer, Martin Baker. The elite 9th Reconnaissance Wing at Beale wanted a watch with the same testing history as the Bremont MB but one that had also been custom-tested to their own requirements. This 43mm stainless steel model features Bremont’s Trip-Tick case construction for enhanced robustness and holds the BE-36AE automatic chronometer at its centre, capable of producing a 38-hour power reserve. The movement lies behind a closed decorated caseback whilst it performs at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The Bremont U-2 Blue watch features Super-LumiNova-coated Arabic numeral hour markers at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock, together with stick markers and a legible minute track. Additionally, it features a day date aperture in black at 3 o’clock and a red arrow-tipped second hand. The watch is also 100-meter water resistant and comes fitted on a stylish blue calf leather strap with contrast stitching running down the sides and a stainless steel fastening.
