This Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Chronograph celebrates a sailing partnership between Omega and Alinghi, bearing the sailing team’s instantly recognisable logo inside the watch’s sub-counter at 6 o’clock, rotating on an anodised aluminium disc. Balancing this counter against a skeletonised dial are two additional chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock. Through the skeletonised dial of this Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon watch is a honeycomb effect on the mainplate and barrel bridge of the Omega Calibre 1865. The unique version of this manual-winding movement also features “carbon design” textures inspired by the hull of the Alinghi TF35 catamaran and provides a 48-hour power reserve. The 44.25mm black ceramic case of the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon watch is also 50-meter water resistant and features an anti reflective sapphire crystal glass front. An Alinghi logo in red varnish on the stop/start pusher of this Omega chronograph watch matches the detail on the watch’s Super-LumiNova tachymeter bezel and the red contrast stitching along the rubber strap.
