70cl / 44.5% / Thompson Bros - An independent botting from the mighty Thompson Bros, this single malt Scotch comes from a mystery distillery (57.3 miles from the Thompson Bros home in Dornoch, and 15.8 miles from Inverness… information which may dispel the secret). It's been distilled, put into 1st fill bourbon barrels and matured for 19 years. Soft fruit on the nose lead through to cereal and grain on the palate with some notes of orchard fruits. A little light tannin adds to the structure.
