A. Lange & Sohne presents this beautiful iteration of the Grand Lange 1 watch in stunning silver and black tones. The timepiece was first designed in 2013 and is characterised by its harmonious proportions and slender silhouette. The case of the Grand Lange 1 watch which measures a 41mm diameter is only 8.8mm high. The well-balanced ratio of the case is to ensure maximum accuracy of the beating heart that resides inside. The L095.1 Calibre performs at a rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers a useful 72-hour power reserve. Its perfectly arranged 397 components are put on show through a transparent caseback crafted from anti reflective sapphire crystal glass. The same material tops the front of the watch, protecting a solid silver and black coated dial adorned with solid gold appliques and hour markers. The dial of the men’s Grand Lange 1 watch also features a Panorama date at 1 o’clock, a power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock and a small second sub-dial at 5 o’clock. On the left side of the dial is where the wearer can watch the passing hours and minutes of the day in an off-centre display. The 18ct white gold men’s watch is completed on a classic black alligator leather strap to match the tones of the dial.
