The optimized compressor aerodynamics enable higher pressure ratios and support increased boost levels. At the same time, high flow efficiency delivers cooler, denser charge air, helping to maximize the engine/s performance potential. The G38-1000 is suitable for engines with a displacement of 2.0 to 5.5 liters. The high-temperature-resistant Inconel turbine wheel features a 66 mm exducer. Depending on the application, stainless steel turbine housings are available with V-Band or T4 Twin-Scroll inlets and various A/R ratios. Compressor Wheel All G compressor wheels are CFD designed, forged, and milled from special high-strength aluminum alloys. The new G-Series II compressor wheels achieve 10% more airflow than the Gen I compressor wheels. Compressor Housing The new aero-optimized high-flow compressor housings with integrated mount for optional speed sensors are matched to the new G-Series compressor wheels. The improved recirculation systems from Generation I have been adopted in the G-Series II and significantly extend the operating range of the compressor by shifting the surge line. Core Assembly All Garrett G are equipped with water cooling with 4 connections. This allows two connections to be selected on each side. This greatly facilitates the installation of the water lines.
