The Reidmar GTX boots weigh in at a mere 756 grams per boot, have a medium-height 8″ shaft and standard last (normal width fit).

The uppers are constructed in full-grain leather and the soles in relatively flexible Vibram®, which ensures a good grip on flat or moderately uneven ground. The boots also feature a shock-absorbing midsole for a thoroughly comfort feel when out hiking.

Other stand out features include a fully waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and a U-turn® wire lacing system, for easy fastening. The lacing system is very robust, but if the wire it uses ever breaks, U-turn® offer a lifetime replacement warranty. All you need to do is ensure you retain the hangtag that is on the boots when you buy them.
