Bird Brand Methylated Spirit

Mineralised Bird Brand Methylated Spirit for use as fuel (cooking and heating) and solvent for mixing and cleaning. It is a denatured alcohol and manufactured from virgin materials resulting in a cleaner burning flame. It is also used with good effect in Triangia and other burners. Methylated Spirits contains a purple dye and can be used as a thinner in our Button Polishes, French Polishes and Patent Knottings. It is highly flammable but the sizes identified as part of our Craftsman Range are shipped in strong metal (UN standard) child proof tins.
