Kite's range of wool insulation packaging is a low-cost alternative to WoolCool pouches. Made from pure wool felt with a recyclable MDPE inner liner, these pouches deliver reliable cold-chain protection for food, pharmaceuticals and other perishable products. Wool’s natural insulating structure traps air and reduces heat transfer. It outperforms many traditional insulation materials used in food delivery and chilled logistics, and can keep items in the 2–8°C range for up to 48 hours while remaining compostable and low-impact.
