Ablestand Patient Turner The Ablestand Patient Turner assists a carer or attendant in standing and turning to move a user to another seat, bed, wheelchair, toilet, or commode. It has a strong steel frame that provides steady support for the user. The Ablestand can be used with a variety of various user heights thanks to its height-adjustable handles. Additionally, there are padded lower thigh supports. Without the use of tools, these can be altered in breadth, angle, and height. The handle is angled to allow "nose-over-toe" standing and has numerous gripping points to accommodate different carer/user support requirements. There is an opening on the central bar that allows quick fitting of optional support belts. The substantial base area and low profile base provide stability, and the rear bar also allows the carer to counterbalance. Without the use of any tools, the Ablestand is simple to disassemble and reassemble for storage and transit.
