Formwork tie rod + 2x disc nut

The formwork tie is a tie-down construction element. The formwork tie is most often used to fasten shuttering tops together when formwork is being placed.

The tie rod may have an iron oxide film on it (a result of the natural oxidation process of iron, but this does not affect the load-bearing capacity or strength of the element).

The disc nut is fitted to the formwork stripping. The element is used to align lengths. The special design allows and greatly facilitates hand-tightening.

The part we offer ensures a solid connection and retention of the parts to be screwed together. It has an annular shape and internal threading.

The nut is made of steel. The galvanisation used makes the product resistant to the corrosion process.
