Its tapered design fits 6mm, 7mm, 8mm and 10mm domestic and commercial probes, and 360° rotation allows the probe to be positioned at whatever angle a job demands, with a rubber end giving a tight seal. Where a flue test point sits at an awkward angle — against a wall or in a cramped cabinet — getting a straight probe to fit without a flexible extension can be genuinely difficult. The Trappex's right-angle, 360° design solves that, and the tapered fit seals on most probe diameters in use, while the rubber end gives a clean seal at the test point for an accurate reading.
