Filson's Lightweight Waxed Anorak combines the natural rain protection of waxed cotton with the simplicity of your favourite hoodie into a minimalist shell that packs small enough to take anywhere. Made with cotton from England’s historic British Millerain, the superlight 3.3-oz. fabric is treated with a special dry-wax finish that causes water to bead up and roll off the surface. Constructed with the same techniques developed for WWII parachute fabric, the ripstop cotton incorporates a cross-hatched pattern of strong threads into the weave to provide tear strength and prevent punctures from spreading.
