How to use DoubleBase gel?

This product should be applied liberally on the skin and as often as you require, however twice a day is often sufficent. It can be used before and after washing, showering, or having a bath to stop your skin drying further.

If you are applying another treatment to the same area as DoubleBase Gel you should try to avoid mixing the two products. This can be achieved leaving sufficient time to allow the previous application to soak in.

Is this product suitable in pregnancy and breast feeding?

This product has been used widespread in patients during pregnancy and breast feeding for many years and as such is deemed safe to use.

Warning This product does contain liquid paraffin which is a flammable substance. Whilst using DoubleBase the user should not expose themselves to any nearby naked flames (eg, cigarettes or candles).

What is this product is for?

DoubleBase Dayleve Gel is a highly moisturizing and protective hydrating gel for regular and frequent use in the management of dry or chapped skin conditions which may become itchy or inflamed. The gel is formulated with a higher level of oils and a higher level of glycerol compared to other Doublebase products, and also contains an ingredient called povidone. This helps trap the oils and gives long lasting moisture to your skin.

This product is intended to be a soap substitute and is suitable for all age groups that suffer skin conditions.
