Benylin Mucus Cough Honey & Lemon is a syrup for the symptomatic relief of a productive (chesty) cough in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The active ingredient, guaifenesin, is an expectorant that helps loosen and thin mucus, making a chesty cough more productive and easier to clear. It is not suitable for children under 12. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take other medicines, or have a persistent or long-term cough, speak to your pharmacist before use. See your doctor if the cough lasts more than the period stated in the leaflet or is accompanied by high temperature, rash or breathing difficulty. Do not exceed the stated dose.
