Description

Rinnai P70EV-714 Thermal Fuse Assy 32e/HD70e - (P70EV-714) The Rinnai Infinity 32e and HD70E have two layers of overheat protection: a resettable bi-metal overheat switch, and beyond that, the thermal fuse assembly, which can't be reset. The fusible link sits on the heat exchanger and is the last line of defence — it only cuts power if temperature reaches 129°C, well past the point the overheat switch is designed to catch. By the time the thermal fuse blows, something has gone seriously wrong — a fault severe enough to push temperature past the overheat switch's limit. Thermal fuses are a one-shot device: once blown, there's no reset and no workaround, only replacement. Fitting a new fuse without identifying and correcting the underlying overheat cause won't solve the problem, since the same fault will simply blow the replacement too. Th
