This 2-in-1 seat changes as your child ages. At first, your little is protected by an adjustable impact shield that absorbs impact forces in the event of a collision in a similar way to an inflated airbag.

When the child reaches 15 kg in weight the impact shield can be removed to convert the seat into a high-back booster providing ongoing support until they're approximately 12 years old.
