Acetocaustin is a topical solution for the treatment of common warts and verrucae. It contains a strong keratolytic acid that breaks down the hardened, virus-affected wart tissue so the wart can be removed gradually with weekly application. The 2ml pack includes a precision applicator to help target the wart while limiting contact with surrounding healthy skin. Apply only to the wart itself and protect the skin around it. Not suitable for warts on the face, genitals or mucous membranes, or for moles, birthmarks or any unusual skin lesion. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or poor circulation, or are treating a child, speak to your pharmacist before use. Discontinue and seek advice if severe irritation, broken skin or signs of infection occur. Always read the label and the patient information leaflet before use.
