With the material glowing bright orange in the forge at just under 1000°C, you’ll shape the axe blades using a combination of hammer, anvil, and hydraulic press. Forging complete, you’ll refine their shapes on belt grinders, before a robust heat treatment process to ensure hard edges. Finally, you’ll fit and shape sturdy handles, sharpening your axes to razor-sharp finish.
