Exputex Syrup is a sugar-free formulation that helps liquefy thick mucus and assist in phlegm clearance. It is intended for oral use and does not promote tooth decay. Suitable for individuals with diabetes. The recommended dosage for adults is 15ml three times daily, reducing to 10ml three times daily once symptoms improve. For children aged 6-12 years, take 5ml two to three times daily. For children aged 2-5 years, take 2.5ml two to three times daily. Exputex contains 250mg of carbocisteine in each 5ml dose.
