The Enrich Bark is manufactured from 100% natural bark. It is ideally suited as a protective layer over flower beds where it suppresses weed development and helps to reduce moisture loss. During the manufacturing process, the material is milled to reduce the particle size and then it is graded to give a consistent particle size of 15mm. This product improves the appearance of newly planted areas with its mid-dark brown colour. It suppresses weed development by knitting together to form a blanket over the soil surface, preventing water loss and improving plant vigour. Over time, it decays to provide a source of slow release nutrients to the soil and plant, and insulates plant roots from frost.
