For drilling in soft wood without any particular precision and quality. Due to the taper taps the results are clearly better than the usual versions.

Alloyed tool steel.

In our opinion flat centre bits are in principal no tools for professional use and are not suitable for hard wood. We recommend instead the FAMAG cylinder boring bits, in particular the product lines Bormax® 2.0 (alloyed tool steel / TCT).
