Robert Sorby 12mm Continental Style Spindle Gouge (Unhandled) - 839.12 Key Features: Originating from Europe, these tools have gained a reputation for their superb handling qualities on spindle work. Being a forged construction, they have an even wall thickness, thereby increasing the finesse without compromising the strength.

Many turners prefer to turn their tool handles to their own specifications. For those turners we offer here the un-handled version of Sorby's standard Spindle Gouge blade. These High Speed Steel (HSS) un-handled blades are identical to the ones found on the handled versions. The blade listed here will also fit the Sorby Sovereign System Handles. A Collet Adapter may be required if used with the Sovereign System. Check your manual for the size collet required if, any.
