70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling - Thomson distillery in Riverhead, North West of Auckland, was established in 2014 to create whiskies that would embody the character of New Zealand. This peated expression was made with 100% locally-grown barley, peat sourced from South Island and was aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The result is a lively and young single malt with notes of iodine, smoke, garden herbs and sweet vanilla — a great choice for peat lovers who wish to explore different expressions of smoky whiskies.
