Description
75cl / 55% - Produced at Voiron, during a short period when the distillery used bottles stamped with a distinctive cut gem (cabochon, in French) motif that contains the emblem of the Carthusian Monks. This religious order of the Catholic Church has safeguarded the recipe for Chartreuse since the early 18th century. Given the liqueurâs potential for bottle ageing we can expect this will show much greater concentration and complexity than its modern counterparts.
