70cl / 49.7% / Elizabeth Yard - This single cask rum from Trinidad was finished in a Pedro Ximenez octave in Unit 9 at the Royal Elizabeth Yard outside Edinburgh. Now owned by Holyrood distillery, the lot was used by the Royal Navy as a storage and dispensary for ration rums before 1970, when the tradition was discarded. Holyrood acquired the unit in 2021 and uses it to age its whiskies, as well as rums from around the world.
