70cl / 40% - A very old bottle of Grande Champagne Cognac, dating from grapes grown in 1875, at a time when phylloxera was beginning to take hold in France. It was distilled a full 34 years before the boundaries of the cognac regions (including Grande Champagne) were even set down in law.
