70cl / 50% / Hunter Laing - A 14-year-old Glendullan single cask release from the independent bottler Hunter Laing, as part of their Old Malt Cask line. Matured in a refill hogshead for more delicate interaction with the wood, allowing the character of the spirit to come through. This expression shows the classic distillery character to good effect with pears, fresh grass and toffee on the nose, before the palate opens to reveal fruit salad and salted caramel notes, leading to a long finish with a peppery note.
