70cl / 43% - This aged, sustainably produced, release from Dominican Republic's Ron Sostenible is first matured for 8 years in bourbon barrels before being finished in both Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a rich and full-bodied rum with notes of figs, dates and raisins as well as caramel, vanilla, orange peel and oak spice. An excellent sipping rum.
