70cl / 48% - This whiskey from Boann distillery was finished for a minimum of 10 months in peated quarter casks. Initially aged in ex-bourbon barrels, the combination of oak and smoke is perhaps reminiscent of good old-fashioned spaghetti westerns. Entering with aromas of campfires, cereal sweetness and brine, the palate is filled with herbal and malty notes and a lightly creamy character.
