It was matured in bourbon barrels for 43 years before moving to a first-fill oloroso hogshead for five years and a second-fill Pedro Ximenez casks for six months. Its time in oak has left this whisky with aromas of Seville orange, pineapple and sea-air on the nose, complemented by sultana, grilled peach and cinnamon on the palate.
