Emazole Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets contain esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that helps reduce the production of stomach acid. They are intended for the short-term treatment of acid reflux symptoms, including heartburn and acid regurgitation, in adults. The tablets are not designed to provide instant relief, and it may take 2 to 3 consecutive days of treatment before symptoms begin to improve.

This medicine is suitable for adults aged 18 years and over only. Before use, speak to your doctor if you have previously had stomach ulcers or stomach surgery, liver disease, or if you are due to undergo an endoscopy or a urea breath test. Medical advice should also be sought if your symptoms change, worsen, or do not improve after 14 days of treatment. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
