Turbosound TQ15 – 15″ Full-Range Speaker Column The 2-way, full-range TQ15 is a passive, 15-inch speaker system with a power of 2200 W, perfectly suited for a wide range of speech and music sound reinforcement applications. Designed to work with Lab Gruppen amplifiers and speaker management systems, the TQ15 delivers optimal performance in FOH, sidefill, and delay line applications.

The TQ15 is equipped with a 15-inch neodymium low-frequency driver with a low-mass voice coil for better transient response and a 1.4-inch neodymium high-frequency compression driver with an aluminum dome mounted on a rotatable 80° horizontally and 30° vertically exponential horn paired with a Dendritic Plane Wave Transformer (DPWT) waveguide. All drivers are matched to an internal passive crossover within a reflex enclosure. The connector plate on the rear panel includes 2 Neutrik speakON* NL4 connectors for input connections and connections to additional enclosures.

Finished in a highly durable, semi-matte black paint, the enclosure is made from 15 mm (5/8″) plywood and includes a robust, powder-coated, fabric-wrapped perforated steel grille. Multiple threaded mounting points allow for mounting and suspension in any orientation. An optional rotating handle and suspension bracket are available. The TQ15 also features a double 35 mm socket for standard pole mounting and an integrated handle for convenient transport.

We take great care and pride in maintaining that reputation by using only drivers, waveguides, and horns designed and manufactured by us to our demanding standards. The phase-coherent response of our dendritic waveguide has been part of our premium design approach for the last two decades, the TQ series features a refined curved dendritic waveguide combined with a new, rotatable 80° x 30° horn, providing precise dispersion across the entire high-frequency band.

Integration with Lab Gruppen PLM+ With the increasing complexity of modern sound systems, seamless integration with Lab Gruppen PLM+ is a prerequisite for the TQ series from Turbosound. Our engineers have prepared and meticulously designed a series of presets that allow the user to achieve maximum possible performance and system consistency. FIR filters will be supported in future Lab Gruppen platforms.

Acoustic Simulation Tools EASE GLL libraries are provided for the predictive software EASE Focus 3, which is available for free download. This allows for accurate calculation of both acoustic coverage and the choice of suspension point to tilt and aim the speaker cluster at the desired angle.
