A 2011 Rhuadh Mhor 14 Year Old from Glenturret, the nose leads with earthy peat and scorched herbs, balanced by apple and roast meat, while the palate continues deeply smoky with a countervailing sweetness. A great example of why a distillery who’s product largely goes into blends is attracting more attention as a single malt.
