Lemsip Max Cough & Cold is a maximum-strength hot drink for the relief of chesty coughs and the symptoms of colds and flu. Each lemon-flavour sachet dissolves in hot water to make a soothing drink that eases a blocked or loosened chest, tickly and chesty coughs, headache, aches and pains, sore throat and fever. It combines 1000mg of paracetamol to relieve pain and lower a high temperature with 200mg of guaifenesin, an expectorant that helps loosen and clear phlegm from a chesty cough. This is the hot drink sachet formulation and does not contain a decongestant. Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Each pack contains 5 sachets. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing product, and do not use for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.
