It can be applied to all ferrous metal surfaces provided the loose rust is removed. Complete removal of all rust will improve its effectiveness. The hardened ISOPON ZINC 182 forms a tough durable surface onto which t can be applied. Once applied ISOPON ZINC 182 will provide first class rust protection to ferrous surfaces. ZINC182 Primer formulation can be directly topcoated with most solvent and water-based basecoats or solid colours. ZINC182 should be sanded with P400 grit paper before over ting.

ZINC 182 can be applied to the following surfaces: Bare metal such as steel and aluminium (etch primers are recommended over aluminium) Polyester fillers Can be air dried or low baked Original t surfaces (with the exception of thermoplastic acrylics)
