Wearing the correct socks outdoors is extremely important. Cold, wet feet can spoil an otherwise perfect day. It is important to keep the feet warm and dry - if the feet are wet or sweaty, they quickly become cold. Therefore it is important to let the moisture (sweat) from the feet get away. This can be achieved by using two pairs of socks on top of each other.
