This solution is an advancement of the Honeycomb installation kits! Suitable for all MAF/engine setups, such as the Audi RS4 B5 2.7 Bi-Turbo Bosch mass airflow sensor. Ideal for those who want to or need to calm the airflow. To accurately determine the correct air mass/air volume, it is essential to have a calm and smooth airflow at the MAF sensor. However, this is often no longer the case, especially in high-performance engines, due to modified intakes, pipes, bends, air filter boxes, etc. Our MAF housing installation kit offers an upgrade plug & play option for a larger MAF housing, either 89mm/3.5" or 102mm/4.0", while retaining the Bosch sensor. Of course, another MAF sensor can also be installed, as long as the flange pattern matches. The housing has the Bosch MAF sensor mounting pattern from the Audi RS4 (B5). Despite the larger size, we ensured that the sensor element remains centered in the airflow. The Honeycomb calms the intake air, allowing the sensor to correctly measure values again - without the need for gluing or welding. Note: It is strongly recommended to perform a software optimization (ECU remapping) after installation.
