Slick bobbin achieves this by having super smooth inserts. Both models have delrin feet and come in either Ceramic or Titanium and it allows for a super smooth application of the thread to the fly.

The inserts are funnel shaped and it allows for a smoother use bobbin and causes less breakages than the traditional straight edged inserts.
