The oil flowing to the oil filter is tapped off and first passed through the oil cooler and then through the oil filter. This oil filter adapter is equipped with thermostat. Thus, the oil is not passed through the oil cooler until the operating temperature is reached. There is the adapter (other article) also without thermostat, so that the redirection of the oil takes place permanently. The included filter screw is equipped with a M18x1.5 thread and fits most vehicles. Other versions on request.
