The oil restrictor is required for all ball bearing turbochargers GT25 to GT35 when mounted to engines producing more than 3bar oil pressure under full load. If neglected, a bearing failure is very likely to happen. The banjo bolt fits to 12mm banjo fittingst. The special design of the banjo bolt reduces the oil pressure. Compared to common restrictors, no 0,9mm restriction bore is required. The operation principle itself is equal nevertheless. For safety we suggest fitting our oil feed in-line filter to prevent the adapter from clogging.
