Ultrapure Surgical Spirits 100ml is a traditional alcohol-based skin preparation. It is applied to unbroken skin as an antiseptic and astringent — for example to cleanse the skin before injection, and to harden and toughen the skin to help prevent and relieve blisters, corns and bedsores (pressure sores). It is made to the Surgical Spirit BP formula, based on industrial methylated spirit with small amounts of castor oil, diethyl phthalate and methyl salicylate.

For external use on the skin only. Do not apply to broken skin, open wounds or the eyes. Highly flammable — keep away from heat, flames and sources of ignition. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Always follow the instructions and safety information before use.
